Riff on Charles Bernstein

wewriwa_square_2 It’s time for Weekend Writing Warriors!

Every Sunday, a clutch of writers post upon their blogs, 8-sentence snippets from their Writing Works in Progress.

There is much reading, commenting, sharing and getting to know one another. Also great writing. Click on the red square with the white feather and sword to see the list of blogs and perhaps add your blog’s name and join us in the fun. If you are, like me, a person who needs deadlines and feedback, this really helps.

Daylight at last!
You bet I’m making noise.

I wonder if that beautiful tree wishes it weren’t next to the scruffy one.

I wonder if that white house wishes it were made of brick.

Does that now-shellacked fence hate its new protective coat?

Did each round stick love its natural bamboo color?

Do the chipmunks chatter about the dog (or) cat that chases them?

Do the rabbits plot their escape and squirrels their revenge?

Do the crickets wish the cicadas would shut up and let their sweet sound be heard?

Does the hummingbird appreciate the fresh sugar water?

Ouch! Durn chipmunk bit my nose. http://www.clker.com/clipart-187589.html

Do the finches wish for something more than thistle?

I wonder if the oak tree mourns its lost limbs.

I wonder if the grass hates the mower.
